I really like you cool air mod! Any possibility you could make one for me. Back in the day, I could have done this, but now in my 80s...

No need for a custom intake system. The K&N kit is easy to install save but the deinstalling of the OEM stock intake crap. Along with that and the K&N installation, just some skinned knuckles and a it of subdued cursing.Trust me, it’s perhaps the easiest mod you can do on your Bird. You won’t be sorry and the engine sound is exhilarating.

Hi ER, If you could, I'd like to learn more about the "performance chip" you installed. I have a dyno shop I trust to do work on the car but would like to know more about it myself.
Thanks in advance,
Tom
Lastly, given the cost of Ethyl, (supreme) fuel over that of “regular”. I have gone to buying Mac’s 104 octane boost at NAPA and filling up with regular grade fuel using the additive. At $4.99 a bottle per tank and buying regular grade fuel versus the increased cost of $10.00 per tank buying premium grade I’m saving $5.00 per tank not to mention distinctly improved performance. After 2000 miles I have yet to see any issues. I pulled the fuel injectors and spark plugs and they are cleaner than I’ve ever seen for this car.
