We do not recommend the use of cheap LED Headlight conversions in halogen housings! This can be dangerous and illegal in some places! Members have reported lawsuits as a result of accidents and LED headlight conversions.

There is one company that makes a LED upgrade headlight bulb call VLEDS, please make sure they meet your laws! Click here for pricing.

My plastic headlamp covers have melted from the inside. Has anyone else out there experienced a similar problem? I thought maybe a previous owner had replaced the bulbs with brighter ones, but that is not the case here as the bulbs are what the owners manual specifies. I don’t want to replace the covers if this is just going to happen again. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Purchase new housings and the correct halogen bulbs using the links above. They probably tried to put in some sort of cheesy LEDs or something else in the housing.

While taillights seem almost impossible to get for under $500-1200+ each, there are sellers with brand new aftermarket headlight assemblies for $250 a pair.

My headlights have the typical amount of 60K miles/18 years on them, and before I did a polish on them to remove scratches wanted to solicit opinions.
