I hear what I think are barring's, sounds like a cup of sand rolling around in a wheel cover!!
I met a working mechanic who bought an 03' new and has 135 thousand on it and he said the rear barring's are a weak link and he's replaced his every 45to 50k or so.
Is this a common flaw?
So far I think the car rides well, it has surprising pick up and seems to have plenty of pull. I like it!! I stiffer ride into the corners would round the ride out for me. Does anyone know if there's a stiffer sway bar and coil combo that would help it out?
Are there parts sites for the "retro birds"? Doc.
