INSIDE R/V MIRROR TBIRD vs LS LINCOLN

Does anyone know if you can interchange the two mirrors and the compass feature will work on the bird? A friend has an 05 LS and has all those features and looks the same as my o3 Bird Would like the compass feature. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes!
I just bought a compass & auto dimming mirror on ebay. It was pretty easy to install. If you buy one on ebay, make sure that it is the wedge type connnector.

Where did you connect the 12 volt wire?

I ran it around the top of the windshield, down the right side, and connected it to the fusebox. Fuse #15 unused.

Hey All???
I do not want an aftermarket mirror if possible. Anyone know if LS will work out of box from FORD??? I appreciate any info on other mirrors if Ford will not work.
