Hi,

I´ve owned 1962 Tbird just over a month. I took the car to local garage for engine oil, transmission oil and rear oil change and they also checked overall condition of the car.

Maybe this is just a coincidence, but after I got my car back it has been acting up: All electricity goes down randomly while driving. I mean totally, not a single dashboard light is lit. Electricity comes back just as mystically and everything works fine until next anomaly. No other symptoms.

I´m thinking maybe some wire got loose during maintenance?

Battery and starter relay are brand new and well connected.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Check your battery, load test, and if it is fine and you are loosing more than one system (dash lights, radio . . .) your issue is most likely a loose ground wire or corroded connection . Start at your battery, check connections and follow them upstream
