Hi folks. New to this board....
The transmission display on my new '03 T-Bird (just got it May 2) is showing "E" when driving in D5 on the highway. This is some kind of error message, according to the manual. Any ideas on why this might be happening? The car has about 850 miles.
sigh.

Saw this posted on another site, might check the manual
if this wasn't a post of yours.

I notice that there was an "E" displayed on the dash. Since I
glance of the owners manual indicated, "bring to service immediately to avoid severe transmission failure!"
