More Than 25,000 Birds to be Built?

I don't get it. Redbird says Vin #24,737 will be built this week. The plant builds about 500 birds a week. That means that all 25,000 should be finished by the end of August. The 02's will be built until Nov 15th. which is 11 weeks of production or 5500 more birds. Will the total number of 02's built be closed to 30,000?

I may have a low rotation number. There may be 3000 cars yet to be built.

Ours was completed July 19th, VIN #22252, Rotation #2466. What is your rotation number?

If I have this rotation thing down correctly, you car was the 22,386th Tbird built.

I do not know my rotation number. Still waiting for the car.

Kind of like Beanie Babies, you have something good, take advantage!
We had a plant tour Monday Aug 12/02 and were told they will build 02's to November.
Looking at 120 per day it looks like 30,000 will be built.
The new blue will have the identical light blue interior accent as the 02 Thunderbird blue.
It seems that the yellow will be the most collectable. The guy who told us news on futur birds told us that there will be a "spring time" yellow for 04 or 05. Also 400HP will be offered soon! Probably by SVT or Rouch Racing. With the 05 having a high HP version when the Mustang is produced on the same chassis.
