I bought a '02 Turq. premium two-top with full accent interior. Will try to take delivery Monday-if not I'm waiting 'til Friday 12/27...my 50th B'day!!!

PS-Has anyone purchased a car cover, from any source including Ford?

Congratulations, cool57, but please don't call the color "turquoise." It is
"Thunderbird Blue." (Okay, the interior is slightly more green than the exterior, and might be called turquoise, but this is still a blue car, at heart.) I have one, and it is still as pretty as any I have seen--though when my dealer got in a red one with a white top I was surprised. IMHO its a close second to the Thunderbird Blue--but they are all beautiful!

You are right Tom, but since the Desert Sky Blue came out I wanted to be clear in my post which blue I got. I agree it's the best color- though I may change my opinion when I see the James Bond color in person. Anyway thanks for the congrats!

I purchased a Weathershield cover by Covercraft. It is extremely light material and repels rain. It folds into a small bag that fits inside about 2/3 of the small box in the car trunk. p/n C16301WG for grey and C16301Wt for taupe. It has a 4 year warranty. We have had a lot of rain here so I have had the opportunity to test it. The water just rolls off. I think price was around $250 with freight included. I bought thru exoticwooddash.com

Hey, I am just around the corner, would love to see the cover!

I purchased the Thunderbird Blue full package.
I also purchased the cover from the dealer, which is a cloth material and is presently covering my car which is stored for the winter. However I have taken it out recently since the weather permitted. I found the metal roof had condensation and dripped on the cover.
The cover did its job great!, I am very pleased with the Fords cover, its very light, easy to fold up, even has the T-brid insignia on the front. Looks Great!
