There are several computer modules on 2002 - 2005 Birds, and they all affect or control different functions. The major modules I am aware of are:

- Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
- Front Electronics Module (FEM)
- Rear Electronics Module (REM)

Can anyone provide a list of what functions each of these major modules affects or controls? And, are there other modules that should be added to the list? What functions do these others affect or control?

Thank in advance!

BLACK T

How many electronic modules are in our cars total - is there something somewhere listing what they are - where are are - and what they control - and a part number would be a plus too

Check out the FEM thread for the one that needs repaired the most often.
