The easiest way to tell the difference is the Premiums all had chrome (or machined) wheels while the Deluxe models all had painted wheels. All Canadian models also had painted, not chrome, wheels.

I really can't answer any of your questions because I don't know. I would assume there would HAVE to be a cord near the front grill area. I'm not sure if it shows up on the window sticker. There were a little over 4,000 engine block heaters of the 68,098 Tbirds made so the odds are you dont have one. Since I have the entire build information of all 2002-2005 Thunderbirds the data does show up in my stats. Have you looked at Dot's site for photos of the engine block heater?

Another little known option is the engine oil cooler with a little over 28,000 of the 68,098 Tbirds having one.

Thanks Harry. Did some digging as you suggested and here's what I found, for anyone interested:

2002/2003 Engine bBlock Heater/b: Standard in Canada Optional in northern states
2004 bBlock Heater/b is standard for models sold in Alaska, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wisconsin and Wyoming and Canada

And finally, Engine bBlock Heater/b: Ford Part Number 2W6Z-6D008-AA : 2002-3: Cost $83.51

All available options were checked off. Torch Red exterior, white hardtop, black interior. Car came in on March 26. Paid $ 5,000 over M.R.S.P. This was the best deal I could find for this car. I live in Cleveland about 150 miles away from Columbus.

Hi Wes.... I am sure Quickdraw will respond to your original question, soon. In the meantime, mine came out of Maine. It was produced on 2-22-2002 at Ford and shipped to a Maine dealer in March. I had ordered mine from another dealer and they could never tell me when delivery would happen. So, I found mine sitting on a lot in Maine since March so I bought it and took delivery in August of 2002.

By the way I lived outside of Cleveland, in Chagrin Falls, OH in the early 70's for a few years. Worked in Solon OH at what is today, AM International.
