thanks for the info! I really appreciate it. I don't want to lose my T-Bird as I am the first owner, but the teenage girl that rear ended might have totalled it :-(

Thunderbirds are part of Americana, and I wanted to give this one to my first son in 9 years when is ready to start driving.

If they do total it, or even if you dont like the way it was repaired, they aren't too hard to find used. That way you can move up to a later year with more horsepower and features.

No, that isnt your VIN, the VIN can be found at the bottom edge of the windshield (looking from the outside) on the drivers side. It starts with a 1 and will look something like this: 1FAHP60A74Y107375

You listed a bunch of standard equipment but didn't note that you have the optional Select Shift Transmission and the optional Supplemental Parking Lamps.

I briefly owned the beautiful ivory '02 this weekend.
I picked it up 200 miles away, drove to secretary of state's office to get a plate, then home to wash her up. I had a new condition 2002 Thunderbird with only 6500 miles sitting in my driveway. Then it happened!
My wife came home.... Now she owns a new condition 2002 Thunderbird with only 6700 miles.
I do still have my pickup truck though.

hi iwas wondering what they call the interior color of my bird it has the two tone black with red inserts and dash and shift knob in red? it also has the his and her's shift kit i assume that it what u r calling the sst tranny correct??? thx

You also have red on the door panels, right? Yours is called the "full red interior" option. The SST stands for Select Shift Transmission - allowing you to manually selcet gears. I hadn't heard of it being called "his & hers" before.
 
ok finally got hold of my brother he puled the vin for me...1FAHE60A94Y100492 and it has the optional park lamps as well thx for any info u can give me.
