(New retro) on the road - a red one

In Minneapolis did see two yellows on a rack out front
of a Ford dealership. From a distance think saw a grey one
on another Ford lot in Iowa.

Only others were 2 blacks on separate independent
used car lots.

Was surprised in driving that far, through 6 states and
3 weeks, only seeing 1 being driven on the road.

Maybe a lot of owners are like me. If it looks like rain, is real clouldy and has a hint of moisture, I leave my baby in the garage.
I know someday I will take it out and not care what type of weather I am in----but not just now. Have only had it since Jan 03. We have other vehicles to drive. NONE are as much fun as the T Bird.

Minneapolis had two severe storms roll through while was
there. Couldn't help but wonder if they left those yellow's
out on the racks. Both times the storms occurred
early in the morning hours doubt someone ran over
to move them.

Midas -- when ever called back home to check up on things
seems it was raining. The Hill Country is usually
kinda brown this time of year, nice and green now.

I just don't understand where they all are - 25,000 2002 birds and so few on the road.

I'm picky - if the weather's bad, she stays in the garage and I drive my '95. But, there are quite a few dry days

I agree. I haven't seen more than 8 in the past year. Of course I'm sure that there would probably be more in the South then up here. But....they're out there somewhere

Just returned from 3000 mile trip thru Phoenix to Vegas. Saw only1 -03 bird , like mine red, on strip in Vegas. Saw one other, 02, on a rental lot near airport. Drove around Phoenix, Scottsdale etc and did not see a bird except on dealers lots. Where have all the birdies gone???? Here in Austin, I have seen 4 other than mine. All 02's, 1 blue, 1 red, 1 White and 1 yellow. Lots of birds on lots here. I know there are more out but just do not always see them.
Seems strange all the way on I 10 and to Vegas & back NO BIRDS ON ROAD.
We did not take our bird had 3 to travel.

Mother took the car to Gruene (local town) and it created a
stir from kids going tubing to adult tourist. So they still attract
attention when one does venture out.

Maybe most of the birds are still on the lot.

I see almost 1/day here on Long Island but I can see almost that many Ferraris as well. Now Astons, that's a rare Ford sighting...
