1987 Motor Trend magazine "Car of the year". Ford Thunderbird 4 cylinder, 5 speed, turbocharged coupe. 4 wheel disc brakes with first year ABS system. 2.3 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder. Boost for days. Newer black paint over red interior with tinted windows. All new: suspension, shocks, coils, brakes, rotors, tires, clutch, radiator, headlight housings with LED bulbs, fog lamps, ac condenser, valve cover gaskets, seat motors, driver's side bolsters, all fluids. Complete turbocharger rebuild with wastegate. This car set the standard in 1987, for automotive ingenuity and design, and still turns heads for its unusual lines and rarity. This body style falls into the Fox body design of late 1980's Mustangs. It is fast and nimble. Never wrecked, no rust. Very straight, daily driver. Some minor upholstery fading and a single line, cracked dash. Back deck carpeting needs replaced. This rare bird has been almost completely rebuilt, but the original bones were solid and no frame work was required. Located in MO.
