We finally found an obd tester here in Germany that is able to check the car‘s system. The FEM and the REM show no errors, but the REM that is responsible for the voltage supply of the masterswitch for the windows sends no voltage to the masterswitch. So the windows stay down. Has somebody got an idea, what we can do next?

I have problems with drivers window only. In fact right now it won’t go down, also headlights won’t come on and top won’t come down. I’ve been told it’s the FEM. Haven’t had time to send it off.

Yes, we‘ve tried that. We‘ve sent voltage to the masterswitch by a cable and the windows went up. When closing the doors, the window went down a bit, as they should, but stayed in that position. Each time we closed the doors, again they went down a bit until they finally disapeared completly an stayed down. The problem is, that the REM sends no voltage. The obd diagnosis shows no error in the REM.

Mine did the same thing. I had Ford replace the FEM about 6 months ago. Once it was replaced all those issues were fixed. There is a place on the internet that will rebuild the FEM and REM.
