2002 Select Shift gear selector

Hi Everyone,
I just joined the group today and I have a question that I’m hoping someone can help me with I have a 2002 Tbird with the standard automatic transmission shifter . I prefer to have the slap stick style available to use on an occasional basis. Will the slap stick style shifter from a2003-2005 Tbird work in my 2002? They basically look the same but I’m not sure if it will wor.k. Can anyone please help me with this???

No. The Select Shift Transmission (SST) was a $130.00 option that allowed the driver to select between the transmission's automatic shift mode or the manually selected shift mode.
