Panz, I was looking thru either Autotrader or the Ford Dealer connection (or somewhere) and I came across a blue with black top. Wish I had written down the info on it(didn't list a VIN), made me think of you, wonder if it was you'rs or if someone else ordered the same combo.

I had sent emails requesting availability & pricing of Birds found via Dealers Connection and got one informative reply back. The sales person informed me that the car is available for sale, but that they do not have the car in stock! She said that the site apparently lists the cars at the time of dealer's receipt of the INVOICE, but that it may take 3-4 weeks to get the car in. I wonder if this is the case more often than not? It may or may not explain a couple of cases of the same car being listed at two different dealers - possibly a change of shipment location, or two dealers requesting identical cars or ?

VIN#1FAHP60A02Y107307 Black Black Deluxe delivered 1/4, refused by customer, resold in 10 minutes by Dowling Ford, Cheshire CT.

Red top. Somehow I went from 2 of 6 to 3 of 6, but considering CT winters, no prob for me. Also, I ordered black accent interior, but asked today to change to partial red. OK, I asked - He was 6'5". No wonder.

jodrod, just to bring you up to date. I called the 800# this morning and got a delivery date on my 109293 BlueBird here in York Pa. at Beasley Ford. Build Date 1/14/02, Delivery date 2/11/02. But it sounds like they might be running ahead a little so we'll wait and see.
