Are these sleeves available for sale, I have only found mention in the Restoration Manual. The Owner’s manual does not mention them. I’m guessing pry it open and remove. Can these be reused? If so, how are they cinched around the bushing?

Might help if you put the model year in as instructed.

What Year and model are you working on. Your figure 6 is for a 55,56 or 57 T-Bird, but your photos do not look like mine.
Attached are the lower control arms and bushings from my 56 T-Bird. There is no split ring.

Here are the uppers. Each bushing is one assembly. They only come apart when you remove them from the control. Replace all 8 with the Moog brand. They are available at your local parts house.

Good luck,
Steve Winner

The picture is of my '55 with the split rings, that's interesting that your '56 does not have the them. The restoration manual shows them on an early bird but the description doesn't mention what year. Must be specific to the '55..

Prestige manufactures these. They were installed on all three years.
