My signal light dash indicators on my 1957 are very dim, to the point that I can hardly see them during the day. Is there some type of LED direct replacement such that I can just plug and play? don't want to modify any wiring.

Thanks!

I do not see why you could not replace the indicator lights with LEDs. I have the same problem on my 57. Recently I bought a set of LED lights for my 66 Mustang two of which were for the indicator lights I put them in over the winter and it made a very big difference on the brightness of my dash lights including the turn indicator lights which I can now see day or night. I would think that someone would make a set of bulbs thst would work for the TBirds. It is the same technology.

I replaced my dash lights and turn indicators in my 60 with these from ebay

This looks to be a very good replacement bulb for the original post. The original #57 bulb is something less than 4 Watts. This LED replacement looks to be 6 watt. That is the bulb I would try first.

Sorry for the crappy pics but you can see the difference. the bulb on the lower left (ign, lights) has not been changed yetDSCI0001.JPG DSCI0002.JPG
