Just Curious

Not open for further replies.
I have noticed a lot of users that show as a part of his/her signature a list of vehicles.

Is that a list of currently owned vehicles? Or a list of all the vehciles one has owned?

Like the topic, just curious.

I always assumed the lists were currently owned. Maybe some are wish lists. I only show my Blue/Blue premium full accent #9424 on this board.

Wish I still had the '83 GT, almost had it built to the point I wanted it, just needed the supercharger and nitrous added but then I got married. Luv ya honey.

Geez, now you've me thinking about all the cars I've gone through too since I was 16 (25 years ago). This list contains a lot of cars that I am truly ashamed of (like the Duster and the Citation), but seemed like a good idea at the time.

Kid years/college years/early work years:

Same as with RTBRD, these are the cars that I have owned, not necessarily the year that I bought them (especially the ones prior to 1980)

1966 Thunderbird Towne Landau, Midnight Blue
1976 Thunderbird Burgandy Special Edition

2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4, White/Tan(Thunderbird's Brother in the Garage)
2002 Ford Thunderbird, White/White Premium

As you can see, I've come full-circle back to my Thunderbird roots... and loving every day with my car!!!

I wish that I still had my 1964, 1966 and 1976 Thunderbird's.
The ones I have list are the ones I have now. I'll try to remember all the cars I've owned but I'll probably miss some. These will not be in order, just as I can remember them. You know getting old and all that.

Courage - and shuffle the cards
OK, the question on another thread was "Don't we ever sell anything?"
Here's what we've owned in the past & George will probably remember more - many were never drivers - dreams to fix but sold without doing it anyway - in order that we bought them as it's the only way I can remember them - we're not into many new cars:

1957 Ford Skyliner (2) - made good money on that sale!
1954 Ford Sedan - sold as pair
1954 Ford Skyliner -sold as pair
1955 Ford Victoria hardtop - sold
1957 Ford Fairlane 500 - sold but I want it back

1989 Chrysler LeBaron GTC convertible - bought new - daily driver - still own
1989 Chrysler TC by Maserati (auto. tranny) - new - still own
1956 Continental Mark II - still own
1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero - wrecked & sold
1989 Chrylser TC by Maserati (manual tranny) - still own

Dark gray '87 LX
Black '66 Town Landau
Carolina Blue '83 Heritage
Carolina Blue '77 Bird
Dark Ivy Green '74 XR-7 Cougar
Dark Ivy Green '68 Ford XL fastback

The XL was the first one my parents bought me. Bank repo---as with those cars, it was less than perfect, but it got me from point A to B, had a 302, auto in the floor (horseshoe shifter, no less!) and hidden headlights. I loved that Cougar. Had always wanted a Bird, but the cost was out of reach for the family. We looked at a '74, and it was an astronomical $7700!! Then looked at the Cougar for $5500, and it came home. The downsizing for '77 really dropped the price, so I could finally have my first Thunderbird! I really liked the '66--triple black..but the a/c did not work and it had an electrical gremlin that forced me to sell.
to the best of my ability to remember: (although I have no idea why anyone would care)

1964 Impala SS convertible (NJ) bought in 71
