Good morning, all -

I am in the process of installing one of Casco's mechanical brake light switched in my '57. Got everything done except the tie-in to the wiring harness. My problem is that none of the wires in my wiring harness match the colors in the instructions. Looks to me like I have several different green wires. Is there a way to tell which wire is the correct one by looking at the color of the connectors?

Thanks!
This is one way: You have two wires that go to the brake line pressure switch. Run two wires from the new mechanical switch installation through the firewall to the two wire plugs from the original pressure switch. This would perhaps be the simplest method. good luck, J.

Your wiring seems correct. You have to connect to the green/green (green wire/green connector) and the other wire is connected to the headlight switch. I just looked under the dash of my 56 to make sure. The only difference is that the 56s have a block connector under the dash and the 57s are line connectors as yours are.
Hope this helps.
