I've been asked to drive my 63 convertible in a parade, with a dignitary sitting in back. I know that often the dignitaries want to sit up on the boot with their feet on the seat. I'm a little worried about that complicated top mechanism. Does anyone know if there's a published load limit for that surface? thanks

IveI used my 65', about 4 times. Couldn't find weight limit. But I never went over 150 lbs. No issues. Also watch for ladies if wearing heels. I made a plywood cut out to fit back seat. Covered same color as interior.

also ordered some mechanics' fender covers to protect the boot finish from abrasive clothing and accessories.
