I'm new to TBird forums and looking for advice on this issue.

I've just bought a new used 2005 Thunderbird with about 20K miles on it. Last week the right headlight went out for no reason on low beam. High beam works. Bulb has been replaced so it is not the bulb. Owners manual only indicates fuses.

Is this a faulty column switch or is there a relay somewhere? Anyone have access to a wiring diagram or have had this issue?

Module is bad

I took car to dealer, and they found a bad light module which controls high/low beams. I think he called it a Fen Module.

I had a similar problem. Low beam not working on drivers side. Had to change the light control module in the kick panel on drivers side. Works fine now. Might cost $200 unless find one at junk yard like I did.

Its an FEM (Front Electronic Module) which controls lighting, instrument lights, power steering and DS windows - its a common failure item. 2002 versions are one year only and a bit tougher to find 2003-2005 are similar..
