Is my memory getting that bad, or do I remember some articles written just before the Lincoln LS was introduced, that talked about the Lincoln LS being based on the Ford Falcon built by ford in Australia. The Falcon has been a mainstay in Australia. It has at many times been a clone of other Ford products built in America, but has since been on its own. It was/is a full frame car, that has a rich racing history, and a reputation of being a tough little car (dynamite comes in small Fords). Also isn't one of the Jaguar models a clone of the Lincoln LS? If any of this is true, then there might be a wealth of performance products available for our little birds in both England and Australia. For example headers, which in general are a 5-10 hp bolt on. I don't believe the Bird has headers. Anybody have any information on this?
