Vacuum leak behind the intake (right by the firewall)?

I have a vacuum leak that can be heard behind my intake...I cant see where it's coming from nor can I get my hand back there to feel around, not enough room. My scanner is showing P1410
MAP/Barometric pressure circuit high.

So I figured I ask if anyone else has experienced this and if so, what is it or what needs to be replaced? I would prefer to not have to pull the intake off but at this point I can see no other alternative unless somebody else has experienced this and can shed some light on my situation.

Thanks

I have not experienced this at all. But, that particular code also refers back to the EGR valve.
Not sure what year you have but the 2002 EGR valve is under the engine cover on the drivers side.
At least taking the cover off would give you more visibliity and make sure that the sound you hear is actually coming from where you hear it. May just be a loose connection under that cover

Of course if it's NOT running rough or poor acceleration, then EGR can be ruled out
Please let us know what you find.

the cover is the first thing i remove whenever I'm checking it out.

I've already checked all the vacuum lines to the EGR valve and I narrowed it down to coming from behind the intake plenum. Engine revs when I spray carb cleaner back there.

I just can't see what is back there that can leak. no room to see back there.
mine is a 2005 and my scanner says "MAP/Barometric pressure circuit high" it doesnt mention anything about the egr. I dont know, its getting annoying because it runs so good.

you can still buy a Ford extend the warranty.............
