OK I have a good one for you all. My little Bird was sitting for a couple of weeks so I decided to take her out for a spin. I opened the drivers door and the HORN started blaring incessantly without stopping. I tried the emergency switch on the key and nothing happened still blaring, put key in ignition and started the car. Horn still blaring, jumped out and noted the parking lights, directional lights are all on with no control from light switch. tried locking and unlocking door, still no luck. Finally I had to get into the trunk and disconnect the battery.
Now everyone will say it's the FEM. I would agree except I pulled it out and sent it back to Auto Electric Repair services under it's lifetime warranty, since they repaired it last year for me under similar conditions. I installed it today but the same problem occurred. Talked to Auto Electric people and they said their was nothing wrong with my FEM they checked it in 2 different cars.
SO it's not the FEM.
HELP !
Any suggestions????

No they wouldn't. Sounds related to the PATS alarm system. There's nothing in the FEM thread about opening your door and the alarm starts going off. Lol

Test your battery.

Update on Pats alarm when opening door. After fully charging the battery the open drivers door alarm went away. Still have horn blowing and removed to fuse to keep my sanity. when using left directional all the lights come on in from and back including the headlights, when using right directional the parking lights and both directional lamps come on but nothing blinks. Am I having an Instrument Cluster issue?

I agree with @biddle, the first thing you should do is to have the battery tested or if you do not know how old it is, replace it.

PATS related codes are not stored in the PCM, they are stored in the instrument cluster. If a problem occurs with the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS), the indicator will flash rapidly or glow steadily when the ignition is in the RUN position. If this occurs you should check for faults in all of the control modules. If the problem is with the PATS, a fault code will be stored in the instrument cluster.

I didn't suggest charging the battery, I suggested testing the battery. What is the date on the battery sticker? How old is the battery?
I just replaced the battery recently but I thinking of trying another one from one of my other cars.

Did you check for stored faults in all of the control modules? I can't help you unless you can tell me what codes were stored.

The stored codes from the different control modules are accessed through the OBD Data Link Connector using the proper scan tool. Biddle suggests using the Blue Driver scan tool which pulls the most codes and provides suggested fixes.
