2004 Thunderbird Photos By Popular Demand

Here are some very hard to find hi-res images of the new 2004 Thunderbird.

TBird: I heard that in some 2004 Ford literature they have used 2002 car pictures in their 2004 articles. These pics appear to be 2002.
Are these from Ford articles?

These are the images released to the media.

The red car in the two exterior shots is an '02. There is no '03 V8 logo on the front fender, and the '04 has a V8 logo incorporated into a modified chevron on the front fender...the chevron pictured is an '02/'03 version.

I wonder why Ford provided these photos via the media site labeled as 2004 models?

I have had the exact same picture of the red thunderbird driving for over a year now. I cut it from a car media site on 2002 thunderbirds.

Sorry, these pictures are not of the 2004 Bird of Prey.

I attached my picture. It even says 2002. Check it out.

Sometimes it's a common thing they do when the changes are so subtle and the model is not out yet.

Also...from an advertising cost standpoint,it is cheaper.It costs less to reuse old images than to set up whole new photo shoots.The typical large scale manufacturer figures Joe Average won't notice the difference.I know....I work for a large manufacturer.
