Do those who are currently responding realize that this trip took place fifteen years ago? The OP never told us how things went.

late to the party, but you probably figured out you can't get much of anything in that trunk. I have to take driver and fairway woods out of my golf bag just to get my golf bag to fit. Hope you worked it out.
My woods and driver fit but i usually have to put the heads in first then the bottom of the bag will go in.. If it's just me and my bag I can be sloppy and put it in diagonal with room to spare, but if my wife is going also, I can fit both in side by side from left to right (or right to left) in the trunk.. And as i said above, it is a very snug fit but they fit.. I can't add another club or ball ot tee.. 🙂
