Electric rad fan has failed and engine begins to run hot at stop lights. Need to use car daily but mech can't get to it until next week. Question - if I unplug the connector to the fan sender, and jump the two connections, will the fan run when the motor is running? And, is there any risk of doing harm to a computer, whatever, by doing this? Thanks for any help. Cheers
