The lights integrated into the rocker switch.

Are all the seat heater lights out - driver and passenger side or just one?

Maybe pop the panel off and clean the contacts. If more lights are out you probably have a FEM issue.

Only the driver side is out - both of the power on works
what do you mean by rocker switch and how do you get the panel off

The switch to turn the the heated seats on is called a rocker switch.

use a plastic trim tool to pop the panel out that the two switches are mounted in. It’s easier if you remove the center console which pops right out.

Just discovered that the light comes on for only a second then goes out - so any clues
It’s a light inside the switch. The only solution is to replace the part. Mine has the same, it actually dimly flickers a couple of times and then goes out. But the heated seat works and there are no other issues.

Do you know where to get the part, part number?
I’ve been checking - the part is discontinued. Thought I found NOS for a good price on Amazon but the guy sent me the wrong part.
