I replaced my 2002 with LEDs I just had to pop off the plastic lens covers and pull the old bulbs out and put the new ones in

Same from me, just popped the lenses and made the switch. Tons of suppliers out there and the most simple choice seems to be the best. Note that price equals quality in most cases.

I just bought my tbird, so i dont know if the interior lights are working properly. When i open my door at night, I have a light under the dash turn on, it lights the floorboard. Nothing on the passenger side. ( maybe a bad bulb) But none of the overhead lights in the map light area turn on. makes it difficult to find the key slot. Shouldn't something turn on to light the interior of the car when the door is open? Is there a switch I am missing? Thanks guys!

Well of course, the first step is replace the bulbs. I put the LED equivalents to the 575 bulbs where I could i.e.the footwells and the main overhead, can’t remember that item number right now. From there it’s chasing wire with a volt/ ohm meter albeit not that likely. Lastly, check the position of the center overhead rocker switch. There are three positions from left to right… off, auto and on full time. The left and right switches are the reading lamps. Those two require a different bulb.

Did you get it figured out? We just bought our 2004. None of the ceiling lights (dome/reading) work. My wife pointed out that it seems the garage programmer may not be working either, no Amber light on it.

We wonder if the whole ceiling was piece is missing power. We haven’t attempted a bulb replacement yet bc….we didn’t know how to pop off the plastic cover!

The overhead lighting module pops out with slight pressure prying with a small blade. I have a plastic interior trim tool kit and they’re quite inexpensive. Using a screwdriver or knife blade dings up the plastic finish of the unit. Inside the overhead trim you can see the wiring and the backside of the programmable garage door control buttons.
