Battery died overnight. I charged it up and as I hooked it up I could hear a stuttering noise up front near the radiator. Took the plastic cover off but couldn't locate it. That must be the problem, but what is trying to start? Tried using the A/C two days ago for the first time and left it on.

I think I found the cause of that problem. The battery was so low that there must have been a relay that was stuttering, not fully engaging. There was also one obvious relay in the fuse box in the trunk that was doing it only not as loud. Just a guess. I got a new battery and the noise is gone. Still scared to leave it hooked up overnight, I don't know what drained it in the first place. Looking at all the culprits FEM, REM, dash and mirror lights left on. Maybe I left a door open or something silly.

There is something else. I fired up mine and let it run for about 10 minutes with no problems. Went out 5 days later and the battery was dead and registered only 3 volts. Replaced the battery but I don’t know.

I had exactly the same issue with my battery right down to the 3 volt reading. The parts store, O’Reilly replaced the battery under my warranty but I’m still concerned about what caused the drainage.

My battery would drain down to no voltage at all in about 24 hours. I checked everything I could with no luck. Read a lot and people gave different reasons. One was the radio with bad CD player. Long story short I replaced it with an aftermarket touch screen and so far 3 days later it still has over 12 volts
