Figured I would share in case anyone searches here in the future. I just installed these and they work great. About 6-7 box for 10 of each on Amazon. (auto stores want 5-6 bucks a PAIR).
These appear to be proper, are incandescent and do dim while rotating the headlight lever.

1445 are the smaller bulbs (my gauge cluster took 8) and 1985 are the larger ones (gas gauge, etc).
