1963 door release button installation

I’m slowly assembling my 1963 project. The next job is to install the exterior drivers door release button. Can anyone shed some insight on how to install it, maybe a specialty tool. Thanks

From memory, they are a pain due to the spring tension. It's getting the alignment that is the key as it's shaped to the body line but not aware of a tool just keep trying!
