my 2004 bird's suspension sounds like a 50 year old car. You can't give it a lube job so how can I stop the horrific speaking? It happened before after being snowed in for three days but went quiet after a week. This time it was after 3-5 days of bitter cold weather, but it's still squeaking horribly after two months. What can I do?

Take a wheel off and look at the suspension joints. You will see the trouble.
Thank you. The Stabilizer Links are shot; I picked them up for about $80 including freight. The "Toe Rod" (strut rod) bushings are also shot. They apparently come in two sizes so I'll be pulling one off twice to determine which size is on mine. After that, the shocks may need replacing as there's a pronounced air sound when going over bumps. Hope that's as easy as it looks. I've got the service manual so I can figure that out. Thanks again.
