Hi Folks. Haven't seen anything listed for a while so I thought I 'd give try.
I'm looming for a black OEM Soft top boot for my black 2004. I have the hard top which I took off for what I think is the first time last month, and the soft top is in perfect condition. Missing, of course is the soft boot. I have been checking around on eBay and such, but I really would prefer to buy it from someone here. So if you have a black soft top that is looking for a good home please contact me.

Thanks Dave

Hello Dave:
I have a black OEM soft top boot off my 2002 T-Bird, that I bought new in March of 2002. It's never been used and is in brand new condition. I only put it on the car once, after I purchased the car.

If interested please give me a call.

Mike,
Is there any chance that you still have the boot?

Thanks for the leads. Mike, the above poster, and I worked out a deal. Next up: change out the coils and spark plugs. Should be interesting....

Rest assured, my NEW original spec coils are very fine. The shady Alamo Volkswagen dealership in San Antonio sold me this (now) fine car had many mismatched parts and a rotten transmission!

My mechanic said that he could rebuild the transmission, himself, but to trade in and buy a re-built transmission directly from Ford Motor Company was a much better deal because Ford offers a superior guaranty.

Dave,
See my overly long story about my dad boot search. I also contacted a nation-wide network of junk (“salvage?”) yards to no avail.

Be aware that there are essentially TWO styles of boots. On [earlier dates?] boots, the inner core is hard board. The latter (or more expensive?) boot contains soft upholstery sheet foam. Good Luck

Besdwebt, thanks for the offer but the "ol' Girl" is put away for the winter and there is way to much salt on the roads to tempt me to take it out. After the Holidays are over and the winter doldrums set in I'll change out the COPS and plugs.
And as mentioned above Skizix Savage and I worked out a deal.
Thanks Again.

No we have not. I just decided to let everything go recently. It is a 2003 black soft fabric tonneau cover for the retracted convertible top when it is in the down position. It has snaps, folds up and looks smooth and tight20181223_083058.jpg 20181223_083103.jpg 20181223_083053.jpg 20181223_083053.jpg when it is in use on the car. Let’s make a deal! I may assume that your boot is just like the one shown in my pictures?
