Our 02 bird has never been out at night, so the headlights
haven't been turned on.

However last night coming in from town was followed by an 02,
03, 04 can't tell. The lights including the small ones on the grill
were a dull yellowish tint. When had the chance to see the
line car following most were blue-ish white, white, all much
brighter and not as yellow as the thunderbird.

Has this been a topic, was it just that car or the way
they are coming from the factory. Also when it did turn
only the top part of tail lights was lit. Just figured they
would have been full round.

Conventional wisdom on that is Ford decided to keep them "old-fashioned" as part of the retro look. Some have changed out the headlight bulbs but say it makes the SRLs look even yellower. Don't know if anyone has changed out the SRLs.
