Purchased a 2003 Gray & the Sal Mineo Connection

About a month ago my wife and I bought a gray 2003. She was smitten the first time she saw a gray oone about six months ago, but she had not spoken about it much. I brought it up in December and she said she was still interested. After talking with a few different dealers - and a few deals falling through - we finally got one. We had them put the machined 2004 wheels on it.

So what does this have to do with Sal Mineo? Well, my grandfather sold Fords at the same dealer in The Bronx, NY for 30 years. He sold Sal a 1957 Tbird. A "teen idol" magazine photographer was there. I have one of the proofs from that session hanging up in my house. One of my cousins has a copy of the magazine.

Nice story & Pics....someone just asked me why I didn't get a white top for my 2003 MSG.....I said I wasn't so sure a white top would look as good as the grey or a black, but seeing those 2004 wheels with the white center rings has me thinking that a white top would, indeed, look great! (Then, seats with white inserts, a white hood scoop......)

I tried to attach a picture a few days ago, and I didn't work.

Im thinking it might be the resolution of the photo. "Sals photos" are under 640 pixels and the ones I posed I think were over that number....

I think a black roof would look nice with the gray.

Those images are not attached, they are linked from another site using image tags in UBB code, like this:

{img}the_URL_of_the_picture_goes_here{/img}

Just replace the {} brackets with [] brackets and be sure you use the entire URL including "http" and do not leave any spaces.
