Delivery of my T-Bird is still a few days away (#15963), but I would like to order some Zaino products now. Is the paint on the new birds "clearcoat"?

To my knowledge, all new cars are base/clear, so, yes, the T-bird is clearcoat. Unlike the old paint systems, these do not need to 'cure' and can be polished/waxed as soon as you get it.

When my Bird was hit and repaired the body shop said I should wait a couple days to polish it . He does bake the finish but he said it's not as good as the factory. You should have no problem doing this as soon as you get your car.

To answer your question, yes all Birds are clear coated no matter what color.
