Has anyone found a nice set of luggage that fits in the - well - "not so large" T-bird trunk, using the limited space efficiently?

I'm still trying all the pieces I have. None fit great. Others who have traveled in '55-'57 Little Birds over the years say soft, unstructured pieces like duffle bags and garment bags seem to work best as they are more stuffable and you dont end up with the rigid parts of the larger bags preventing trunk closure. Hope that helps. Anyone else with any suggestions?
