Thunderbird Year
1955
In October 2014 I purchased my 1955 Thunderbird, since then I was able to trace three of the T-Bird's owners prior to me. Before coming to Ohio my T-Bird resided in San Francisco, California. With the help of Dave Tulowitzky who is the keeper of 55-57 Thunderbird Registry, I learned that my T-Bird was the 116th Thunderbird shipped to the Richmond, California district for the 1955 model year. I contacted the California Bureau of Motor Vehicles, however due to privacy laws I have reached a dead end. I have seen Dave’s articles in the Early Bird magazine about people looking for the history of their Thunderbirds and I was wondering if this is the next step in tracing the history of my Thunderbird, or does anyone have any other ideas.
