Despite its title it is very much pro-11th Gen. It made some really good points on the rarity of this car especially mentioning that the number is even smaller now that some have been lost over the course of time.

Rarity doesn't always equate to desirability - some wishful thinking in that video IMO.
and I've collected classic cars for decades.
Haha thanks for playing devil's advocate. I worked in the car business in my 20s. Integrating a porthole into the hardtop and the grill os not exactly engineering genius. Also, note that not long after Ford stopped making the Lincoln LS & Thunderbird, they sold Jaguar. The *Jaguar Derived" engine, mentioned in the video was not necessary a good thing! Jaguar was well know for It's cool esthetics and electrical and mechanical failures! Ford also made most of It's profits from SUVs & Trucks back then.

My neighbor is a shop manager, we talked about what's going to happen to all these cars with 3,000 computer screens when they fail. It's going to be nearly impossible to keep them running long term, which is precisely what a publicly traded company wants.

You can see my 2004 Pacific Coast Roadster TBird special edition in this picture. I have had it for 18 years... it's a wonderful car, extremely well engineered and built.
The video is spot on.... other than coils and a new AC compressor, I have not replaced anything other than tires. Its only got 31,000 miles.... I drive it short distances
every week. Every time I walk into my garage and look at it I'm always thrilled, as growing up I loved the 57 T Bird which started my passion for these 2 seaters.
Owners, please hang on to these beauties, they are worth every effort you put into them. I have already talked a good friend into keeping his 2002 Thunderbird Blue.
He says its the best decision he has made, we both show them at our City Car Show annually ... and have both taken home Show trophies. The value will go up
quickly now, folks love seeing these at car shows.
