UPDATE EMAIL ADDRESS
Hello All:
I've been a daily/weekly reader of this great forum and BON since 6/2001 and I'm number 3 of 8 in my Indiana dealer's allocation, with my blue tbird (7xxx) scheduled to arrive 12/30. Dealer ordered this car last winter with my color/option preference with a $100 deposit(placed on 10/2000) and no guarantee on price. As of two weeks ago, the salesman said that $10,000 above MSRP is the asking price for the #2 car now in the showroom. I'm not in a hurry to get this car, and will not pay over MSRP. I have not yet begun price negotiation with this dealer. After this experience, I would like to fix an MSRP purchase aggreement in the form of an order placed in my name ( I don't care when I take delivery and can place a sizable deposit)and have the car shipped to a local dealer. So ..... Any suggestions?....any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!!
