I have a 1996 thunderbird, with the am/fm cassette stereo (not Mark Levinson). It's just the base radio. Anyway my cassette deck died. I want to replace it with the same exact one. I'm hoping one of you pulled your fully functioning one to toss in a cd or a dvd stereo or one with bluetooth or USB and still has the stock radio lying around !!! I've attached a photo of what the radio looks like.... hoping to find the exact same one. I believe they were the same for 1994, 1995 and 1996, maybe even 1997, and were installed in several cars including Thunderbird, Cougar and Escort. text me 516-395-6017 or email me rosedalenative@*******

I just bought a ‘95 with the original stereo in it. Haven’t tried the cassette player yet, but husband is going to be putting a new JVC stereo in it, possibly this weekend. If you’re still looking for one, let me know and I’ll have him find a cassette and test it before he pulls it out. I know the tuner works and balance, fade etc. if the cassette player works you can shot me an offer.
