Quickdraw,

Thanks for the info on my 2004 Vintage Mint Green T-bird. I did have a question regarding the fact that your conclusion is that it was one of only 67 of its type. I thought I saw somewhere else that there were about 600 vehicles made in this vintage mint green color. So, wondering what factors are included in the result that it is one of only 67 besides color? Or maybe I was given incorrect info about the number of mint green vehicles manufactured.

There were 612 Vintage Mint Green Thunderbirds produced. Not all had the VMG hardtop, black accent interior, SST, or the 16 spoke machined wheels. There were 67 like yours.

2004 Light Ice Blue Permium w/hardtop
Partial white interior

I just acquired the ice blue 2004. It’s in beautiful condition. Someone cherished it. I’m curious to learn as much as possible about it.

Thank you,

Hi,
This is my 2 T-bird. First one was 2004 metallic silver. I now own a 2005 Steel Blue Anniversary. Bla k and blue seat interior. Unfortunately someone stoled all the parts for the removble top, soft boot cover for the convertible part when it's down. I think it is sad that Ford is refusing to build replacement parts for the Thunderbird, they are shooting themselves in the foot with this.
My Vin number IS

Would love to know more.

Would you be willing to post contact and pricing info or let us know what was used as a pattern? OEMs are hard to come by and go for crazy prices on eBay.
I wish I had a pattern, I use to upholster and I could make one. It's how it mounts over the trunk that I don't uncerstand, can't remember from my 2004 tbird.. I WOULD POST INFO ON THE BOOT COVER, to me it's ridiculous what they're charging for these replacement parts.
For a starter, the car isn't that old.

Sorry for not responding sooner folks but I was in the hills of Tennessee on a great event with 60 other retro-Thunderbirds.

Is this car still black? Galpin repainted several retro-Thunderbirds to customize them.

Jusdoin,

No domestic car manufacturer makes parts 13 years after production ends. By that time the after market people pick up the slack. What parts aren't available? There are companies that rebuild the computer systems in the car, trim pieces are available from junk yards, drive train and suspension parts are available from third party manufacturers. The Tbird has MANY Lincoln LS parts.
