Last year the engine fan would start after warmup and stay on. Dealer said it was cylinderhead temperature sensor. It was replaced ( 446.67 ) and problem was solved. Same problem started again last week. I thought I saw a post on the forum or a TSB relative to this problem indicating short? Anyone?

Well, Mine did the same thing about 6 weeks ago, as soon as I turned the key, the fan would start running, except, mine wouldn't start either. I had it towed to the dealer, and it was the PCM,(powertrain control module), that took the 5 weeks to get, because they have to have it made if you need a new one. I live in Michigan, about 45min north of the Ford Wixom where this car was born.

There are a few possibilities here:

1. Your PCM has a problem, but that's unlikely, I think.
2. The sensor went out again.
3. You have a short or lose wire somewhere that is causing the sensor to go out.

I personally would vouch for 3. Hope that helps!

That would be my guess, personally. I would check them all leading to the fans, as much of a pain as that is. I mean, honestly it's not that big of a deal for the most part. Some people wanting performance out of their vehicles will actually wire their fans to stay on when the car is on. Not the best idea to me, but still, since it is only coming on after warmup, you aren't in a terrible way.
