Hi, I had the same problem with my 05 T bird. The dealer had the car for a month. The component that was bad is in the trunk. Its function is to shut down all the systems when the car is turned off. Mine got wet do to a leaky trunk. Hope that helps Dan G

Thanks Dan. Can you post the module number that was on your service report?
It may be the same part number that's used in earlier Birds that could be out of warranty, and your number could be a big help for someone.
