Brooklyn, it is fabric. I haven't used the 303. I got the Rag Top Cleaner and their Protectant. I haven't had to use the cleaner yet but have given it two coats of the protectant and this is holding up real well. Every time I wash the car it beads up real nice and looks like new after it dries. This has been on the car for a couple month now and ours is a daily driver.

Joe, I was just wondering, just how do you get MOST of the hard top off. I saw your Bird and I didn't think it was a landau top or t-top. Maybe you got a differant top sence we were in Fla.

Another way to get "most of it off" is to unlatch the front and rear snaps, slightly elevate front of the top (above the windshield), and then proceed to the nearest interstate highway.
(forgive me for this.)
