The single lever handle on the latching mechanism on my wife's 05 has lost its smooth operatinion and makes a rough grinding sound, enough that you can feel it on the handle as you latch it. There does not appear to be much extra play in the operation and it works ok. I just dont like the grinding feel or sound as that almost always means something. I haven't bought the service manulas from Helms yet, as I have been letting the dealer do the warranty work. This is the first issue that was not under warranty. Not many miles on the car.

Thanks for any help
Dave
