I'm looking for a fun car to purchase as something that I can repair as I am using it. A dealer near me is selling a thunderbird silver with 133k miles on it for 3,895 is tis something worth even looking at? If so what are some common problems I should look for? Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance
Edit: not dealer a private individual is selling it.

All kinds of things could be wrong. A local mechanic would need to look it over, put it on a rack etc. You can use an OBDII reader to check any codes the car might have.

I can't see how that price is justified for a car that old. Car is getting close to 30 years old!

You'd also want to have a local mechanic who is familiar with older cars to give a look before buying, They should be able to provide a bit of pre purchase guidance. Good luck.
