Broken Hood Release Cable 1962

Left (drivers side) of hood released, right side did not and cable snapped. How do I get the hood open to work on the cable?

On my 1962 convertible if you look through the grill you may see a lever right below the center Togo the hood latch. Push it straight back with a stick.
